Fitness Fun Friday

Date night last weekend was so much fun! My husband and I went rock climbing at Climb Iowa. I was surprised at how much of a mental and physical workout I got! My first climb I got to the top but then slowly decided to climb back down rather than just lean back, let go of the wall and trust I wouldn't plunge to my death...ok, likely would've only broken something, but in my mind it was death for sure! Once I got over that it was my forearms and grip strength that were incredibly challenged. The rocks all differ in size and difficulty to grip and step on and there are parts in the wall that jut out.
Overall, a great workout and after an hour we were spent and hungry. Give it a try!
