Choose a minute between 2-5, for longer walks choose a higher number like 5.
Then, every 2-5 minutes perform anywhere from 6 - 15 repetitions of an exercise. Just hop off the sidewalk and use the grass, curb or whatever is available! And remember, people only stare because they're jealous they didn't think of it first. :)
Here's some ideas:
- Push ups
- Squats
- Lunges
- Sit ups
- Step ups on the curb or toe tappers on the curb (tap toes quickly on top of the curb)
- Jumping jacks
- Walk backwards (careful! :)
- Bear crawls
- High knees
- Butt kickers
- Mountain Climbers
- Burpees (you knew that was coming! :)
