Fitness Fun Friday

Have you ever heard of Tabata? Ta - whata??? Tabata! It's just a different way to structure your workout. Choose an exercise and do it as many times as you can for 20 seconds then rest for 10 seconds. Repeat for 8 rounds. Take a 2-3 minute rest then move onto the next exercise, 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off for 8 rounds. Choose up to 5 exercises for a great whole body workout! Here's some exercises to choose from: squats, alternating lunges, sit ups, push ups, pull ups, jumping jacks, jumping rope, squat jumps, running, medicine ball slams, mountain climbers...anything!!! 
You can make it a competition by keeping track of the lowest reps per exercise in a round. So if you only did 7 push ups in 20 seconds in round 6 of push ups but did more push ups than that in rounds 1-5 and round 7-8, your score is a 7. Write down your score per exercise and add them all up at the end. The person with the highest score wins!
