Fitness Fun Friday

Aly and I love to visit the library weekly to find new books and enjoy the activities they have there. Last week we found the book, The ABC's of Yoga for Kids, by Teresa Anne Power. It's an AWESOME book full of yoga exercises organized by letter and explained in short fun rhymes! We've added it to our bedtime routine and the girls totally love it! Aly always asks if it's "Yoda Time" after she brushes her teeth. I do it with them and some of those poses are tough! (For me anyway). Yoga is a great way to increase your flexibility and core strength. Check out a book or a fitness class near you!

  1. Love that! Yoga can be such a great stress reducer and great for kids to start young. I heard about a program in California where it is part of all the kids physical education program every day and the administration has seen a huge decrease in peer conflict, bullying, office referrals, etc.
