Resolution Time!

It's New Year's Day which means many people are rolling out of bed...late...with visions of a fresh new year and goals to accomplish.

Have you ever been in a gym in January? It's crazy packed. You can't find a treadmill and forget about using that one set of 15# dumbbells. The energy is great! People are motivated! The problem is, most aren't disciplined.

Goals without the "how", "when" and "why" are just dreams. They are wishes, not something you actively reach for on a daily basis.

Here's a quick way to set some goals for yourself as you enter the new year!
1. Make a list of every goal you'd like to accomplish. Write em all. Then narrow them down to your top 3-5. You can refer back to your list after you've met goals to set new ones!

2. Decide how you are going to accomplish your goal. Where? When? Frequency? Duration?

3. Make a list of WHY you want to accomplish your goals. Dig deep with these. More than just your pant size, but what does a smaller waist do for you for the rest of your life?

4. Post your goals and tell people about them. Ask them to support you!

5. Remove barriers that will make reaching your goals tough. If your goal is no sugar, get rid of temptations in your home.
