CHANGE...Are You Willing to Go There?

Eat Better:

Move Better:
Static stretches, or stretches you hold for duration, should be done post workout. While your body is warm these stretches can permanently make increases in your flexibility as well as help with soreness. Here are some basic stretches from Mayo Clinic you can incorporate into your post workout routine today!
Amy's Corner:
It just stands to reason that if you change nothing, nothing changes. However, how often do we find ourselves expecting just the opposite. We become frustrated with results we are not seeing from work we simply aren't doing.

That being said, change is not easy. It requires us getting outside our comfort zone. We have to step out of the familiar and into the uncomfortable. It can require sacrifice of our time and money as well as re-prioritizing our daily tasks.

However, it is by making changes, no matter how small, that we begin to see results. My words of advice for clients is to start with one thing. If your struggle is with nutrition, how can you change breakfast? If your struggle is working out, can you find 1-2 days in your schedule and commit to an exercise class? If your struggle is getting enough sleep, can you commit to shutting down the computer by a certain time at night?

Small steps = big changes...you just have to be willing to go there :)
