There are several ways to increase your intensity with an exercise: the distance you travel, the speed, the incline and the resistance. Today's workout has to do with speed. When you increase and decrease your heart rate several times during your workout, from 60%-90% you are more efficiently burning fat. It's just like taking off at 60 mph in your car then having to slow down and stop every other block at a stop sign before peeling out and going 60 again...you'll burn through gas quickly that way! It's the same with your body.
Run all out for 30 seconds
Walk for 1 minute
Repeat 6-8 times
If you are not a beginner to running try increase your run time...
Run all out for 1 minute
Walk for1 minute
Repeat 6-8 times
As with any exercise routine, make sure you are properly warming up and cooling down! No GO GET IT! :)
