The Motivational Blues

Eat Better:
Paleo BBQ Sauce!!!
Move Better:
Forearm planks getting old? Try raising one leg up so that it's in a straight line with the rest of your body while the other leg stays up on your toes. Hold half the time this way then switch and challenge yourself to hold for the exact same time!

Amy's Corner:
Got the motivational blues?? What do you do when you've done so well staying in a routine, you've found yourself suddenly thrown off it and it seems impossible to get back to your good eating and workout habits?

You have to first lay off the self guilt. It does you no good to beat yourself up for the past. It's done, it's over, time to move on.

Plan. Make a list according to the meals you'll prepare. Shop accordingly. Cook in mass quantities and be proud you have a fridge ready to help you tackle your busy week with minimal thought and effort.

Workout. Even if it's for minimal time, move! It'll remind you of the way it feels to sweat and accomplish something just for you! Get the endorphins going and it won't be long before you want to workout again.

We all go through periods where we feel we've totally screwed up everything. But your body and mind CAN change and they DO change all the time! Give yourself some grace, forget what's been done, and start Day 1 as soon as possible.

A group fitness class in an outdoor, encouraging non-intimidating environment! Fat blasting, full body workouts with body weight and minimal equipment while you get to know others! Kids are free to play on the playground while we workout but no supervision is provided.

June 3- July 4

There's no better example of living a healthy lifestyle than working out with your kids! Come to this fun, 45 minute class once a week where you and your children can workout together outside and learn ways to workout right at home as a family! We'll discuss good nutritional choices and ways they can take responsibility for their healthy choices too!

You'll be part of a private Facebook group and receive daily workouts and nutrition tips plus ongoing support and accountability from the group. Almost 20 people are participating this  May and are experiencing AMAZING results! Equipment will be minimal and inexpensive. Modifications/demonstrations are provided for every exercise. Information on Paleo will be provided and you can choose to accept the nutrition challenge for the month and see how much your body changes!
